On this private, full-day sightseeing tour, you’ll explore Lake Skadar and its surroundings. You’ll be picked up from your hotel or accommodation in Kotor and get a transfer to Virpazar. You’ll then board a boat to Skadar National Park. En route, you’ll enjoy views of Lake Skadar, Grmuzur fortress, Saint Nicholas Monastery, Kom Monastery and Lesendro fortress.
You’ll discover that Lake Skadar is an important historical and natural monument of Montenegro. You’ll also learn that the national park was established in 1983 and was added to the global Wetlands of International Importance list in 1996. You can then take a break for lunch at your own expense. Thereafter, you’ll proceed to the Vranjina Visitor Center. Here, you’ll see reliefs of Montenegro’s national parks. You’ll also see plant and animal items endemic to the region.
