As your guide leads you through the labyrinth made up of the narrow city streets, you will see a variety of markets selling everything needed for daily life. The architecture is also amazing and you will have a chance to see museums, mosques, schools, and the oldest university in the world. There are also areas where people make traditional handicrafts the old-fashioned way, including the tanneries, silver and brass workshops, carpet weavers, and traditional medicine and herb shops.
