This boat tour gives you the chance to discover the history and natural splendor of Sri Lanka. After a hotel pickup, you'll first board the boat and cruise out to a sea turtle conservation centre. You'll see various species of endangered sea turtles and learn about the centre's conservation efforts. You'll then continue to the Galle Colonial Fort, a 16th-century Dutch fort. While learning about its history, you can explore the grounds, fortified walls and the lighthouse of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After the fort, you'll journey to moonstone mines, where Sri Lanka's famous gemstones are produced. You'll also have a chance to shop for bargains of the precious stones at the onsite store. To round out the tour, you'll cruise to Unawatuna Beach to swim or relax on one of the country's most pristine beaches.
