On this day trip, you'll join a knowledgeable driver-guide to explore various attractions between Nara and Kyoto. You'll set out from Osaka for Nara, where your first stop will be Nara Park. Here, you can go for a stroll, feed crackers to the free-roaming deer or visit one of the many tea houses.

Your next stop will be the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Todaiji Temple, a Buddhist complex where you'll find a treasure trove of history and culture and a 49-ft bronze Buddha. You'll also visit Kasuga Taisha, an ancient Shinto shrine. In the small city of Uji, just south of Kyoto, you'll visit the 'Matcha Street', a popular location that spotlights the powdered green tea, from ice cream and cakes to noodles. Your trip will end with a relaxing soak at Uji's traditional hot springs.

    Please note that the tour price does not include admission to the sites visited during the tour. Admission tickets for Todaiji Temple and Uji Hot Springs will have to be purchased separately on-site.

    Participants with tattoos will be required to cover them using flesh-toned stickers in order to enter the hot springs.

    Please note that the schedule may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions or other reasons. For this reason, it's recommended not to plan other activities after the trip in case it runs late.
