Mt. Takao is the most climbed mountain in the world, receiving three stars in the Michelin Green Guide in 2007. Nearly 3 million climbers visit the mountain each year. Takao Yakuoin, located just before the summit, is known as the head temple of the Chizan sect of the Shingon sect and is visited by many tourists for the purpose of worship. You can gain from joining the tour, such as immersive cultural experiences, insider knowledge, and memorable encounters with local traditions.
