The tour will be accompanied by woman, a Chinese herbal cuisine researcher who has translated several books in China and Taiwan and is fluent in Chinese (lecturer at the Japan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated with the National Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine).

Niigata Prefecture is one of the most famous rice-producing areas in Japan, with a rich harvest from the sea and mountains facing the Sea of Japan, and each region has its own sake culture, and each region has its own special preserved foods such as pickles (Asian super food). This trip is a journey to learn more about food, lifestyle, and health through exchanges with people in the Takane area, which is dotted with many rice farmers.
