During this tour, you'll go on a journey to see some stunning mosaics in Jordan and visit a workshop to see mosaic artists in action.
The first stop will be Umm ar-Rasas – a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to Byzantine churches with mosaic floors that depict scenes from life during that era. You'll then head to Madaba, where a local guide will join you to see an intricately detailed mosaic map of the Holy Land at St George's Church. You'll also get to see beautiful Byzantine mosaic floors at the Madaba Archaeological Park. Then, at Mount Nebo, you'll be able to take in sweeping views across Jordan Valley and visit another church with illustrated mosaics.
To round off the tour, you'll get to visit a workshop where you can see local artisans create beautifully patterned mosaics in front of you.
