This two-part experience will give you a close look at the night sky as you learn more about the mysteries of the cosmos. You’ll begin with a 20-minute presentation of compelling astronomical facts, and afterwards, you’ll have two 35-minute sessions with different astronomers.
In one of the sessions, the astronomer will use a laser to point out the stars, constellations and horoscopes that can be seen with the naked eye. You’ll also learn how to use the stars for navigation and hear about celestial mythology in other cultures. In the other session, you’ll have a chance to use large, GPS telescopes, seeking out incredible sights like planets, moons and nebulae.
