This tour will take you out into the Apulia wine region where you’ll visit two renowned estates to be introduced to their fine wines. Apulia – or Puglia – is best known for the red varietal, DOC Salice Salentino, which is created using Negroamaro as its primary component, a grape dating back to the sixth century BCE.
At each of the wineries you’ll visit, you’ll learn about Apulian winemaking traditions and discover the characteristics of the different wines as you taste them, accompanied by a pairing with delicious local products.
