This tour is all you have to know about the production of Parma’s traditional products: Parmigiano Reggiano and Parma Ham.

After the pick up, you will head to Casello where the milk is cooked and the process of cheese making begins. Your tour leader will take you to visit the brine room, where cheesemakers will explain the secrets of milk processing and show the artisan of cheese working with their hands. You will have the opportunity to see the full process of how the experts make the famous cheese. Before leaving the factory, you will enjoy a glass of wine with Parmigiano Reggiano.

The tour continues to Parma Ham’s factory. The process starts with the arrival of the fresh pork legs then the experts will proceed with salting, resting, washing, drying, curing, greasing and branding. After exploring each step of Ham producing, you will taste the Parma Ham paired with a glass of wine.
