Duration: 1 hour - 1 hour 45 minutes

On this one-hour tour, a knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the UNESCO-listed Piazza dei Miracoli's history and Romanesque architecture.

You'll set foot inside the cathedral in the centre to discover its elaborate interior with a dome covered with colourful frescoes. Unlike in many other churches, the baptistery is a separate structure that you'll see back on the square. You'll also get to visit the Camposanto Monumentale, an ancient walled cemetery.

The cathedral's famous bell tower, known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, is another part of the itinerary. The basic tour includes explanations about why the structure is leaning at a four-degree angle. If you're keen on climbing to the top and viewing the Square of Miracles from above, you can opt for a skip-the-line admission ticket to the tower.
