On this full-day tour from Catania, youâll discover Siracusa, Noto and Ortygia with a local guide. Youâll go to the Neapolis Archaeological Park, where youâll see the Roman amphitheatre and the Greek Theatre, which is still used for classical performances. There are many other Roman and Greek monuments to see here.
Youâll then have a two-hour guided tour of Ortygia to learn about the cityâs history from the times of Ancient Greece. On the tour, youâll pass palaces and courtyards, alleyways and charming squares, and temples and churches. After a break for lunch, youâll head to Noto. The centre of this Baroque town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and youâll have free time to explore the palaces and churches.
