On this Perugia food tour, you’ll follow a guide around the historic centre with ten tastings along the way. You’ll start with a traditional Italian breakfast of a cappuccino or a tea with a local pastry.
During the tour, you’ll visit a selection of independent restaurants, cafes, artisan gelaterias and shops as you learn about Roman emperors, Renaissance painters and famous residents of the city. You’ll also get to chat with local restauranteurs, chefs and shopkeepers about their passion for food.
Other samples you’ll try include cheeses, Umbria’s famous prosciutto ham, Fagiolina del Trasimeno beans, olive oil, pasta with black truffle sauce, handmade chocolates and Sagrantino and Grechetto wines.
