This full-day tour will take you from Catania to Mount Etna and the town of Taormina.
You’ll first head to Europe’s highest active volcano. You’ll get the chance to discover Mount Etna’s inactive craters and lava caves, take a trail in the Parco dell'Etna protected area and ride a cable car. After that, you’ll head to Taormina, passing through the Isola Bella nature reserve.
Once you reach the coastal town, you’ll have the opportunity to walk along quaint streets, take in the views of the sea landscapes and visit local attractions. You’ll be able to explore Taormina at your own pace and such sights as Piazza IX Aprile, Villa Comunale Park, the Ancient Theatre, the medieval Palazzo Corvaja and others.
