Along the way, you'll stop to visit the geysers of Haukadalur and take in the sights and sounds of the waterfall Gullfoss. You'll also spend time in Þingvellir National Park. Located where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, Þingvellir was a centre of Icelandic culture during the nation's earliest years and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
