On this full-day tour, you’ll have the chance to explore some of Bishnupur’s most famous sites with an expert guide.
After an early morning departure from Kolkata, you’ll head towards Bishnupur, viewing scenery and landmarks along the way. You’ll first stop at the Malla Kingdom and the Terracotta Temples, where you can visit several temples dedicated to Krishna, one of the principal Hindu deities. You’ll then pay a visit to a silk Baluchari sari weaver. Here, you’ll have the chance to learn more about the history of the garment and view the manufacturing process.
Your last stop will be at Panchmura, where you’ll have the opportunity to see examples of the village’s terracotta pottery before heading back to Kolkata.
