On this tour, you can delve into the complex history of the Crusades. You'll start by traveling from Herzliya to Caesarea, a port town made famous by King Herod. As you explore the ruins of buildings, bathhouses and the ancient port, your local guide will share stories that capture the spirit of the times.
Next, the tour will take you to Acer, the site of the Crusaders' last stronghold. You'll see the courtyard and stairway, the Knights Hall, the public toilets and secret tunnels, before a stop at the Arab markets.
At Rosh Hanikra, the most northern point on the Israeli coast, you'll spot the Lebanon border. Finally, you'll travel by cablecar to the bottom of the cliffs to visit the picturesque natural grottoes by the sea.
