On this tour, you’ll have the chance to explore the landmarks and history of Heraklion with a local guide.
After meeting your guide, you’ll board a bike and set off on your tour. You’ll ride through the Old Town district, see some of the city’s World War II monuments and spend time on Ammoudara Beach. You’ll also pass some of Heraklion’s landmarks, including Venetian walls, churches and mosques, and learn more about the city’s history during the Ottoman Empire.
Before ending your tour, you’ll have the opportunity to sample locally produced wines and traditional Cretan food.
