On this full-day tour, you’ll explore villages and the natural environment on your way to southern Crete.
You’ll begin your tour traveling south across the countryside from Rethymno. Your first stop will be a lake filled with local fauna. You’ll then stop at Agios Antonios Gorge to explore a cave church and scenic areas that will give you views of villages and two of Crete’s highest mountains.
Later, you’ll head to a botanic garden for a 40-minute tour of the garden and a stop for tea. You’ll then visit the Folk Museum of Spili and end your tour on the Libyan Sea with some free time at Plakias Beach.
