On this tour, you will be able to explore the ancient history of Georgia with breathtaking views of mountain landscapes in the region. You will get a chance to see the Ananuri Fortress located on the coast of Aragvi. Here, you will walk through the territory of the Ananuri Defence Complex to feel like a resident of the Middle Ages.
Then, you will see the Gergeti Church and Fortress, an ancient monastery standing on a hill with a background of snow-capped mountains. You will visit the village of Stepantsminda, where you will be transferred to a jeep to reach the monastery.
On this tour, you will also see Gudauri Ski Resort, Friendship Arch on the edge of the mountain near Gudauri, the highest point of the pass. The route will pass through the Zhinvali Reservoir, where you will see the confluence of two rivers.
