On this full-day tour, you will have the opportunity to experience the highlights of Kazbegi – a district in northeastern Georgia known for its mountains, rivers and cultural monuments.
After departing Tbilisi, you'll be able to take in views of Georgia's lush landscapes during the long drive to the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains. Once in Stepantsminda, your guide will rent a four-wheel-drive vehicle for your journey up Mount Kazbegi to visit the iconic 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church.
After lunch, you'll continue on to Gudauri, where you'll have the option to visit the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument as well as the local ski resort. Before the tour ends, you'll also stop at Ananuri, a well-preserved castle complex built on the banks of the Aragvi River.
