Founded in 1068 by William the Conqueror, Warwick Castle is one of the most magnificent medieval structures in England, complete with soaring turrets, a vast portcullis, a spooky dungeon and sky-high walls.
It's also home to one of the largest private medieval weaponry collections throughout the entire United Kingdom, and offers 64 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens for you in which to explore. The castle is open daily from 10:00–16:00. Please note that the castle is closed on Christmas Day.
