On this day tour, you’ll get to visit three castles in South Wales, followed by a drive through the Brecon Beacons National Park and a visit to the town of Brecon. Firstly, you'll visit Cardiff Castle, gaining insights into its historical importance during the Roman occupation of Wales.

Next, you’ll visit Castell Coch, also known as the ‘fairytale castle’ because of its tapered turrets and conical roofs. As you explore the medieval castle, you’ll discover that it was built in the 1870s as a country retreat for the third Marquess of Bute. Additionally, you’ll stop at the 13th-century Caerphilly Castle – one of the largest castles in Britain.

Later, you’ll get driven through the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park, before stopping at the picturesque town of Brecon. Here, you can visit the Brecon Cathedral or walk alongside the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal.
