This ticket grants you access to an attraction on the tidal island of Mont Saint-Michel, namely the immense and fortified abbey. You'll get to explore the abbey, cloister and gardens that offer a view of the Mont Saint-Michel Bay.
On visiting the abbey, you'll get a real sense of history in the changes that have been made over the past 1,500 years. The abbey developed from being an early Christian church and pilgrimage site to becoming a Benedictine abbey from the 10th century onwards.
Straddling the border between Normandy and Britanny, the abbey became increasingly fortified over time. The abbey became a symbol of French national pride in medieval times. Nowadays, you can visit the abbey at your ease and then peacefully stroll around the town that grew around it.
