This unique experience gives you the chance to discover the most iconic spice of the South of France, aniseed. With admission to the Mx Experience, located in the Joliette District, you'll learn about the culinary art and culture of Marseille through fully interactive and multi-sensory exhibits. You can smell the ingredient, open digital drawers and handle fragrant vials to learn about the various colours, flavours and applications of aniseed. You can also take a sem-virtual 4D ride in a Mehari to explore the cultural and culinary diversity of Marseille. Along with the Mx Experience, you can also taste the applications of aniseed with a sampling of Pastis de Marseille at the onsite bar or at the gourmet restaurant.

The Mx Experience and shop are open from 10:00–19:00 between Sunday and Wednesday. From Thursday to Saturday, the Mx Experience is open from 10:00–21:00.
The bar and restaurant are open daily from 10:00–23:00.
