On this e-bike tour across the Champagne countryside, you’ll have the chance to learn more about the region where the famous French sparkling wine is produced.
After a scenic drive from Reims, you’ll reach Le Clos Corbier, where you’ll pick up your bike. You’ll ride past the Premier and Grand Cru villages and reach the champagne’s cradle, Hautvillers. Here, you’ll get to taste three different varieties at a local boutique winery. As you visit this family-run estate, including the vats and cellars, you’ll hear all about the pressing and winemaking process. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to pay homage to the Benedictine monk Dom Pérignon in his burial place, before cycling back to the starting point along the Marne canal.
You'll take a break for a traditional lunch with homemade regional specialities and champagne, before boarding the minivan for the last segment of the tour. You’ll round off the experience with a second winery visit and tasting at the estate of a renowned local producer.
