On this afternoon tour, you'll visit the charming French village of Saint-Emilion and sample its famous wines. To begin the tour, you'll meet your guide and travel in a comfortable minivan to a family-run wine estate. Upon arrival, you'll join a wine-tasting class to learn how to identify and appreciate different kinds of wine. During the tasting session, a guide will be on hand to share tips and answer your questions.
The tour will then continue to a chateau overlooking the Saint-Emilion vineyards. While there, you will learn about wine production and sample local wines in a beautiful castle setting. While enjoying the wines, you'll be treated to an appetizer platter of local bread, cheeses and meats.
From there, you'll head to the 9th-century village of Saint-Emilion, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After touring the village, you will board a minibus and ride back to the pickup point.
