With this ticket, you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed Palais des Papes, which was the residence of the Catholic popes during the 14th century. You’ll learn about the palace’s history using the HistoPad app.

As you wander around both the palace’s buildings – the old palace of Benedict XII and the new palace of Clement VI – you’ll gain insights into the lives of the popes of Avignon during the Middle Ages. You’ll also be able to admire the complex’s artwork and Gothic architecture.
