On this guided tour, you will visit a saloir (salting unit) and ham dryer in Bayonne followed by tasting.
Accompanied by a guide, you will visit a workshop where you will learn about the secrets of the artisanal ham preparation – from the meat’s origin to the operations required for ham’s preparation. After touring the last salting room and ham dryer still active in the city, you will get the chance to taste the original in-house products.
