We will start in the colorful Plaza Mayor at the foot of the Cathedral of Santa María and San Julián. From this point we will head towards the Islamic fortress where we will see the remains of the palace of the Marquises of Cañete, the Torremangana, the synagogue and the wonderful balcony towards the Júcar gorge.
Surrounding the medieval walls of calle del Carmen we will head towards the stately homes of calle Alfonso VIII where the tunnels of Alfonso VIII and the Casa del Corregidor are located. We will stroll through its back to admire the oldest skyscrapers in Europe,
We will feel the vertiginous landscape adaptation of the fortification from the balconies of the Hoz del Huécar next to the San Pablo bridge and the Hanging Houses.
To finish our tour we will visit the Cathedral of Cuenca.
Its stained glass windows, its chapels, its history, and its spectacular views from the viewpoint of its cloister towards the Hoz del Huécar, make this an essential guided tour.
