On this guided tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore one of Europe’s best-preserved royal palaces and the official residence of the Spanish monarchy between 1765 and 1931.
You’ll get to take advantage of priority access and follow your guide through the Royal Palace’s elegant rooms. You’ll have the chance to learn about the history and architectural features of the palace that was built in the 18th century over an existing fortress. You’ll also find out more about the official receptions it still hosts, including the traditional ceremony of the Presentation of the Letters of Credence when newly-appointed foreign ambassadors are admitted to the presence of His Majesty the King.
