Valles Pasiegos Gastronomy Tour

A farm-to-table-style exploration of northern Spain's exceptional cuisine

Free cancellation available
Duration: 10 hours

This full-day tour will take you on a discovery of northern Spain’s celebrated culinary scene. Accompanied by a guide, you’ll visit destinations involved in three of the region’s most important products: anchovies, sobaos pastry and white wine.

Your first stop will be an anchovy factory in Santoña, an authentic fishing village where you’ll also visit the port and promenade. You’ll then head to the region’s largest sobaos factory, visit a scenic Cantabria vineyard and have a typical lunch in a local restaurant. The farming area of the Valles Pasiegos is known for its lush, green landscape, and before going home, you’ll head up to the viewpoint of La Braguía to take in the panorama.
