September 19, 2021 marked a before and after on the Island of La Palma. The Plaza de Tajuya became an improvised and privileged viewpoint of the Cumbre Vieja volcanic eruption. From this famous and well-known place, we will be able to see how the physiognomy of the landscape changed after 84 days of intense activity.

It takes us into the new path that has been created specifically to get close to the cone of the Tajogaite volcano.
With a gentle hiking route lasting approximately 2.5 hours, we will see different control and measurement instruments with which the process continues to be studied today. We will be amazed to see how the Canary Islands pine, once again, wins the battle against the catastrophes and, ultimately, how this natural phenomenon has transformed the Aridane Valley.
We will end with the most beautiful sunset on the entire island and we will return to the beginning.
