This guided walking tour will take you on a journey through Bamberg, an ancient Bavarian town famous for its picturesque countryside, narrow medieval streets and UNESCO-listed Old Town. You’ll have a chance to explore the signature sites of the city's romantic Old Town.
Led by your local guide, you’ll start the tour by visiting the Bamberg Cathedral, dominating the skyline of the town with four green towers and boasting Romanesque and Gothic styles of architecture. Here you’ll get to see the marble tombs of Emperor Heinrich II, the founder of the cathedral, and his wife, Empress Kunigunde.
Other sites visited can include the Old Court, New Residence, Imperial Hall and Rose Garden. As this is a customised tour, you can ask your guide to show you the sites and attractions you would specifically like to visit.
