An excursion that takes you back to 1945. The year in which the anti-Hitler coalition conquered the capital of the Reich, Berlin. It brought about the end of the Second World War in Europe. The excursion takes you to the battlefield east of Berlin.

The Battle of the Seelow Heights was the largest tank battle of the Second World War. We use maps to trace the stages of this conflict. Historical sound recordings will take your breath away. We visit selected, authentic places in the Oderbruch cultural heritage.

An audio/slide presentation at the end of the excursion provides a summary of the day.
