On this walking tour, you will follow Catharina Stadellmenin – the Witch of Freiburg – as she walks through Old Town for the last time.
In 1599, Catharina Stadellmenin, the widow of councilor Michael Bantzer, fell victim to the witch-hunt that gripped the city in the late 16th century. Played by professional actors in period costumes, Catharina and her associates will share insights into the history of the witch-hunt and the stories of its victims during this guided tour.
