With this ticket, you’ll have a chance to explore the historic Klosterneuburg Monastery. First established in 1114 by Margrave Leopold III, the monastery has a fascinating 900-year history. Inside the main building, you can view the opulent Verdun Altar, one of the most important artworks of the Middle Ages, depicting intricate scenes from the bible.

You’ll have access to the on-site museum where you can learn more about the stories and facts behind the site and view the annual exhibition. You’ll also be able to enter the Treasure Chamber to see precious objects, including its showpiece – the Austrian Archducal Hat, known as the country’s ‘holy crown’.
