We booked it as a backup since our flight was delayed, and we didn’t want to spend the night at the airport if the flight got canceled. We explained our situation to the host, saying we would only arrive if the flight was canceled. The host was extremely kind and even offered to pick us up from the airport, but we explained that we were still waiting for news about our flight. He then sent us a photo of the cabin where we would stay, assured us he would leave the lights on to make it easier to find, provided the Wi-Fi details, and asked what time we would like breakfast. This thoughtful communication was truly appreciated.
