The waitress in the restaurant is such a nice lady. The other staff are also very helpful by helping us add another bed or bring our luggage’s to and from our room on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

About 5 minutes walk to Jetty Port, less than 10 minutes via tricycle to airport. The hostel had a restaurant downstairs and the staff were nice. Near drugstores/ convenience stores, church, pasalubong centers, local eatery and other establishments.

Close to the ports and very close to shops, markets, restaurants and airport. Very clean and the facilities were very easy to manage to get to use. Staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable, very helpful to talk to each individual. Breakfast was amazing and delicious to eat.

VIEDA HOTEL es un alojamiento de 5 estrellas que se encuentra en Caticlan. En el hotel se sirve todos los días un desayuno asiático. Vieda has absolutely nailed it with their wonderful staff. A very friendly small, family run business. The facility needs a little updating but was clean and comfortable. There was nothing they wouldn't do for you. My friend and I had rooms made up on the lower level when they realised our age. Even so their are considerable steps up to reception. The Bistro only very recently opened was wonderful for drinks, snacks and some meals and had a very pleasant breeze of an evening. I suggested a seasonal fruit platter be added to the menu but otherwise it was excellent. We felt like part of the family after our week here, and thank them so much.

La amabilidad y flexibilidad para todo. La cama era cómoda y con AC que funcionaba a la perfección. Cama muy cómoda, servicio de traslado a 50 pesos y una muy buena comunicación. Cerca de un café muy bueno para desayunar:)

This was our first long stay in the Philippines and we could not have had a better, more authentic experience with lots of love and friendship from the locals. You know you have arrived when the path to your door is down a sandy lane with a jungle garden entrance. We upgraded to a large one bedroom place nestled like a tree fort with beautiful jungle surrounding us. Steps from a gorgeous white sand beach, there were lots of beach dogs, children playing and a few roosters who were anxious to help start our days. There is a great spa two doors down but we enjoyed 90 minute massages every day in our apartment. From Leoni ando Daisy. Our friend Long Long took us to town, showed us how the eTrikes and Hop on Hop off bus worked and took us island and land touring. Don't miss Crystal Cove and snorkeling off of Crocodile Island. We ate half our meals at home and half out. But our favorite part was swimming in the gorgeous, clear water with the local kids who were so sweet with us. We will never forget little Latesha who we ran into three times at different locations. It felt like home in every way. Special thanks to our wonderful hosts Linds and Danny and for Long, Long's willingness to do anything to make our stay better including grilling our whole fish over charcoal that he caught himself. And lending us his Kayak. If you are seeking an authentic experience with kind hearted people, in a gorgeous location, we couldn't recommend Borakay and Paras Inn more.
