Wonderfully renovated ancient traditional Norwegian family home. We were alone in a 2 floor house, well equiped, nicely furnished. A charming atmosphere and amazing landscape. Keys were at the door when we arrived. Our family of 5 stayed 3 days, a perfect place for us. We could explore the Island by foot, it is very quiet, there is a small group of sheeps roaming nearby. We met the host on 2nd day, she is very kind and responds quickly to any demand. They let us use a small motor boat at a really good price to explore around Bolsøya Island. We wish to come back again !

The cabin we were in was clean, had a good bed, and had a table outside with a view towards the water. Shower and toilet were located very close to the cabin and were clean and well maintained. I can only strongly recommend.

I lived on the 2nd floor and had a wonderful room, with dark curtains, a hairdryer and glasses. the bed was very comfortable and the shared kitchen was clean. there was no noise

Thon Hotel Moldefjord is located by the Storkaia wharf area in the heart of Molde, only 5 minutes’ walk from the Romsdal Museum. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking. Location was perfect for me as it was right across the harbour where the cruise ships and havila stop. I arrived at 22:40 in the evening there was staff at the reception constantly. Very friendly people. My room had a balcony and mini fridge. There was also an ironing board in a closet. Nice big bed in the room. From the bed you saw whatever cruise ship was docked at the moment or the water. Depending on your feelings this can be a good or bad thing. Molde isn't a big place but the location is very central. A good breakfast buffet that is served by the restaurant next door (you don't have to go outside to get there). You could hear people entering their rooms from the hallway etc, but you couldn't hear them when they were in their room so the noise insulation was good (at least in my room)
