There was no breakfast, and I didn't expect any. I liked the view from my room over Mehamn, the room was spacious and nice, everything clean. The kitchen and bathroom were vis a vis from my room in the upper floor. And the host was very flexible and helpful regarding extra wishes, like keeping a bag for me between my first and second stay in the Blue House. Value for mones is great.

The room itself is small. Norwegians like very soft matrasses, however, here are the best beds I have ever slept in Norway- not too soft or hard. And everything in the room and shared facilities was super cleand and spotless. The owners were super nice. Overall great place.

It was such an honor staying here and learning so much about Sámi culture and reindeer herding (opportunities and threats). Ellenor and her family are very warm and welcoming and the cabin was beautiful and very clean. Bed was made and awesome 😊. I greatly recommend and hopefully get a chance to visit again. Don't forget to take a look at the beautiful blankets Ellenor designed 😉.

The common areas were fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped and the living and dining room was wonderful. The shower was great with hot water that came immediately. We also had lunch in their restaurant. The meal was wonderful.

A super-place at the very end of the world, right at the shore of the Arctic sea. There were a nice Wanderweg just from the place, that took us to the end of a peninsula, right into the sea; wonderful view, in wind and rain, but also full of sad remains from the German occupation - beauty and sadness in one go! Nice room, but, and perhaps foremost, also a really great eating place. We had fish, both days, and the were of top quality. The staff, from Italy and Latin America, were great.
