Veronica recommended the town of Sandane and arranged for me to stay at Hotel Gloppen which proved to be very nice.She also recommended the floating sauna which I greatly enjoyed and the boat trips to the islands.

Considering it was early winter, the room was warm and comfortable. The staff were excellent and accommodating, especially as my wife is a wheelchair user. We had no problems moving from and to the room, and it was excellent inside. Breakfast was the norm for Norway, with plentiful amounts and tasty and the Hotel was well to the fore and the food was excellent and hot.
