Hotel Taiheiyo is located in Matsushige, a 15-minute walk from Tokushima Matsushige Tokutoku Highway Bus Terminal and a 20-minute drive from JR Tokushima Train Station. We had a very big room for two nights after finishing the Shikoku pilgrimage. We could take a god rest before turning back to Germany. The breakfast also was very good!

I ordered from the TV and the food was yummy. Plus, the size of the room. Again, in Japan I have only had super tiny coffin sized rooms. A good size room was so nice.

This house was really amazing! This being our second time to Japan and we’ve stayed in a few traditional style places before. The house was really set up for a family but very luxurious and spacious for two people. It has everything for a really comfortable stay with a fully functioning kitchen and the bed on the first floor was so comfortable! We only had 1 night here and wanted to stay way longer! It was a lock box entry, which is super handy if you are driving. The next morning we met with the host Yoriko, who welcomed us with a huge hug! Our hire car battery died, so we were able to use the e-bikes to ride to the car hire office. Yoriko even stayed back to help the car hire man charge the battery from her own car. It was a 15min into the city or a quick e-bike ride!

We loved it and would love to come back in the future! Magic place✨
