It's a great spot for people who are driving, as you can park directly on the property, no costs or hassles. Having said that, there's a bus stop very close by too. Our room was spacious, which is a pleasant change in Japan, and the owners very kindly made it comfortable for our particular needs. The bathroom etc was spotless and had a lovely retro interior, as did many of the decorations in the house. It gave our stay a special Showa period mood. We loved that. Very close by, there are a couple of good places to eat, so even though you are out of town, you can have a lovely meal at night. And then enjoy a quiet sleep!

The location was good with a free car park and quiet surrounding area. We travelled by car so it was very convenient to go anywhere from there. The room was clean with a hammock to relax. There was a coin-operated washing machine in common area with detergent. The kitchen was very good. The owner was so kind and gave my children small lovely chocolate chunks. We enjoyed our 3-night stay so much.

To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.

It is a calm, soothing and serene place to stay. there is a public bathroom if you prefer to have a soak in a big space. Soaking in a hot bath means a good night sleep. the breakfast provided was excellent. I feel i have been pampered.
