This is a very special place because it's important historically. It was very magical to stay in a place like this. The room was spacious, the staff were professional and made everything in their hands to make our stay more special. It was my friend's birthday and we had a great time sipping nihonshu at the big tatami room. Would totally come back.

KAMENOI HOTEL Yanagawa se encuentra en Yanagawa, a 21 km de Parque histórico de Yoshinogari y a 33 km de Termas de Hirayama. An older stately hotel that kept all its charm, location, cuisine and thoughtful hospitality. The walls and decor shows it has existed in Yanagawa for a long time but that time has been spent honing the experience. The kaiseki dinner was brilliant using regional ingredients especially eel. We were surprised to be served Hitsumabushi given the price. Buffet breakfast has an extensive spread with signs indicating the origin such as the soy sauce brewer or the rice grower. You can find them in gift shops around town. The hotel also arranges river cruises. The back of the hotel faces the river with a boat ramp just a stone throw from the lobby. The boatman that the hotel arranged actually waited for us at the lobby. He had a wonderful singing voice. He could yodel Yanagawa classics and anime songs while we cruised down the waterways. The rooms were spacious and Wifi was fast. The hotel has so much parking too and very close to tourist sites in Yanagawa. Just walk along the river. If you book for private onsen, you get both the indoor amd outdoor pools too. Could not praise Kamenoi enough for such a wonderful experience. I d rate it 11/10 if I could. Would definitely stay again if visiting Yanagawa.
