Corte Viva is a wonderful, updated farmhouse with all of the amenities. Federico did a great job with the restoration, and has a gorgeous collection of old and new furnishings & art. It was a delight to stay there. The sun room area for breakfast was very enjoyable and complemented an excellent breakfast. The location is close to both Perugia and Assisi. Federico is a super host, very informative and helpful with suggestions of places to visit other than the most obvious attractions in the area - even suggesting a hot spring spa for us on our way to Siena. Brava!

The location is stunning, very big swimming pool where my children spent most of the time, a huge green area that is also very helpful when you have small children but also can be used by customers to relax. The owner are very nice and they helped us with everything we needed, from issues with the apartment to advice for places to visit around the area. Very nice experience for the all family. 100% recommended

Lo Spedalicchio overlooks the main square of Ospedalicchio, a pleasant Umbrian village, near Assisi and Perugia. The hotel is set in a restored medieval fortress. My recent stay at Lo spedalicchio a beautiful castle-turned-hotel, was nothing short of magical. The grandeur of the castle's architecture is matched only by the warmth and professionalism of the staff, particularly Susanne. Susanne was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From her genuine beautiful smile to her extensive knowledge of the hotel’s history, she made me feel like a treasured guest from the moment I arrived. The castle itself is a masterpiece, blending historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a peaceful retreat. The dining experience was also exceptional, with a menu that highlights the finest local ingredients.breakfast was excellent In summary, my stay at Lo spedalicchio was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by Susanne’s outstanding service. If you’re looking for a unique and luxurious getaway, this castle hotel is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
