With mountain views, Oasi Di Francesca is set in Gerbini and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, children's playground and picnic area. The location was great (about 20 minutes driving time) for our shopping run to the only IKEA store on the island of Sicily. The rooms were large enough to hold the queen-size bed and a large wardrobe and still not feel crowded with our suitcases. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large with a good shower. Breakfast was more than adequate. Like everywhere in Sicily, heavy on the sweet side, but very good Cappuccini. Still-warm boiled eggs, ham, and yogurt meant you could find plenty of protein. The restaurant was very convenient after a long day of travel and a seemingly longer second day of shopping. The hosts were open, friendly, and helpful -- helping us with our luggage both when we arrived and when we left.
