We had our flight cancelled in the evening so needed a place quickly and near the airport as we had a flight the next morning. Thankfully Vaspucci Rooms was able to out us up and everything was sorted very quickly and easily. The walk over is short but tough due to no crossings but you can get a tram which is safer. All in all it was a great experience and saved our evening.

Fantastisk vakker renessanseby med overflod av kunst og arkitektur. Her beveger en seg i en annen tid. Men, å være i Firenze er som å gå i et kontinuerlig 17. mai tog. Byen er helt tatt over av turister. De stakkars fastboende fiorentinere er nesten ikke synlige i gatebildet. Setter store begrensninger på mulighet til å bevege seg fritt, må stå i kø omtrent overalt.
utrolig by med masse og se Umulig å rekke alt, men jeg anbefaler å bruke penger på en guide en dag så får man mye mer ut v sightseeingen.

Spennende severdigheter og flotte omgivelser for tur og utsyn, men VELDIG folksomt. Uffizi og David er klare høydepunkter.
Veldig hyggelig å rusle rundt i byen. Vakre bygninger og mye å se på. Prisnivået er relativt høyt. Mye turister, og svært tett med folk. Vi valgte å spise på enkle fortausrestauranter i rolige bakgater. Fikk god mat alle steder vi var. Vi kombinerte Firenze med en dag i Pisa. Enkel togtur på 1 time. Billige flybilletter til Pisa gjorde at vi valgte å ta med denne byen samtidig.
Firenze er en helt fantastisk by. Men anbefaler den ikke midt i den varmeste tiden midt på sommeren. Sen vår/tidlig sommer er bedre. Anbefaler gode sko, for man kan belage seg på mange fine gåturer mellom attraksjonene. Book de mest populære attraksjonene på forhånd, som tårnet i Duomo, tårnet i Palazzo Vecchio, Ufficio osv. Vi gjorde ikke det, og det viste seg å være fullbooket i lang tid framover. Var der i beg. av juni. En god tur til beins for den som liker litt mosjon, er opp til Piazza Michelangelo, og kirken oppenfor. Fenomenal utsikt utover byen. Det går også busser dit opp. Anbefalt reisemåte fra flyplass til Firenze sentrum er tog. Går rett utenfor flyplassen, ca 50 m å gå. Og koster nesten ingen ting, knappe 1,5 euro. Tar deg helt til sentrum.
