This island property is along the Arctic Circle, next to Grímsey Airport and 40 km off Iceland’s northern coast. It offers a restaurant, guest lounge and free public area Wi-Fi. The Basar guesthouse was perfect for us. Very clean and stylishly decorated. Gagga picked us up from the ferry and gave us a lift to the guesthouse. The lady is very nice and helpful, she even offered us how she could help us. We will remember Grimsey and the Guesthouse Basar for a long time. Featuring a private pier and an impressive sea view, Tungulending Guesthouse is located 13 km outside of Húsavík village. Relaxation options include enjoying a drink at the bar. This was like living a dream, the location was wonderful. I was so happy here. The guesthouse was clean and very well equipped. The room was so cosy I never wanted to leave. I loved watching the ocean from my bedroom and listening to the waves while in bed.

Surrounded by a fjord in the northern town of Siglufjördur, this hotel is 100 metres from Adalgata main street and 17 km from Ólafsfjördur town centre. Really nice room, hot pot in the courtyard, excellent restaurant, friendly staff.
