Nella zona causeway colaba trovi buoni ristoranti. Una visita sl museo chetrapati Shivaji vale la pena. Per il resto un casino muoversi in taxi. Solo Contatore altrimenti ti fregano.
Mumbai è una città immensa e di conseguenza c'è un traffico allucinante. Personalmente non ho trovato molto interessante questa città e credo che ci siano posti decisamente migliori
Mi è piaciuto il quartiere storico di Colaba che è affacciato sul mare, la vicina area artistica di Kala Ghoda e gli antichi palazzi di Fort,in uno stile fantasioso che è un mix di architettura araba e gotica. Eravamo stanchi della cucina indiana e abbiamo trovato un ristorantino alternativo molto sfizioso, Smoke house deli, vicino al Taji Mahal palace, con una cucina fushion deliziosa e molta fantasia anche nell'arredamento. Il modo più semplice per spostarsi sono i piccoli taxi neri e gialli e i tuk tuk. Mumbai però è una città faticosa, a differenza del resto dell'India la gente è aggressiva e tutta tesa a far soldi.
Gateway of India, Global Wipassana Pagoda, Marine drive, Dhobi ghat, Slum di Dharawi, Victoria terminus sono posti tutti molto interessanti da non perdere a Mumbai
Mumbai e’ una megalopoli bellissima!! Ci sono così tante cose da fare e da vedere che 7 giorni non bastano. Ho avuto modo di girarla tutta e la parte che ho amato di più e’ colaba, la parte più a sud della città. Il Taj Mahal palace e la gateway of india meritano il primo premio. Ma è tutto bellissimo…. Un consiglio… quando arrivate sarete circondati da persone che vi vogliono fare da guida…. Scegliete quello che vi ispira di più e fidatevi di lui. Io ho fatto così ed è andato tutto bene.
